John specialises in coaching senior executives from new ventures through to large corporate organisations. His background as an award winning entrepreneur and main board director of a large public company, gives him a special insight into the day to day challenges of these roles. He has worked successfully with clients who are facing significant organisational change and the personal demands this can bring. John is a Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors and Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also has an MA Company Direction and is currently conducting doctoral research into the characteristics of entrepreneurial teams at Henley, where he is a Visiting Executive Fellow.

John is a qualified coach and business mentor. He specialises in coaching senior executives and directors from high growth ventures and businesses experiencing significant organisational change.

John was previously the Chairman and Managing Director of Logical Networks plc, a leading UK network systems integrator, which he founded in 1988 and grew rapidly over the following nine years to annual sales of £50 million with around 200 staff. The company was then acquired by Datatec, a global network services provider where John was a main board director with responsibly for European Acquisition and Business Development.

John now has a portfolio of consultancy, advisory and voluntary activities. He is also the founder of Intermezzo Ventures Ltd www.intermezzo-ventures.com an entrepreneurship research and consulting firm; non-exec Chairman of Creating Careers Ltd, the UK’s leading online learning solutions company for further education, and a member of the Institute of Directors’ Chartered Director (CDir) interview panel.
